Today Claudia was supposed to be going to sleep. Remember how she used to sleep? So civilized on her back like a good baby, with her hands tucked behind her head. I never felt nervous about blankets because she never grabbed them. Then one day she decided that wasn't going to work and she needs to sleep on her side with something soft smooshed in her face. I left her in bed today with her bunny lovey and a blanket and left the monitor on as usual. She fussed a little then suddenly was quiet and I heard strange noises on the monitor.
I walked in to find that she had somehow reached it and pulled it off the window sill. Impressive for a baby that can't pull up or push herself into a sitting position yet. She was even chewing on the warning label with a blatant disregard for what it said, proving once again that warning labels are useless and also that babies are very irresponsible.
